Maifest Fun at the Hermann Wurst Haus

Hermann will be celebrating the 66th annual Maifest, one of Missouri’s oldest German festivals, on May 19 & 20. Maifest is an old-fashioned German celebration complete with traditional German food, German music, dancing and a parade.

The Hermann Wurst Haus is proud of our German heritage and will be serving our German Bratwurst Platter this weekend; your choice of two of our award-winning bratwurst, served on a bed of sauerkraut and your choice of two sides for $13.99. Check out our full deli menu here.

  • Wurst Breakfast this weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 8-11 am. Menu:
    • Wurst Breakfast Platter – Grand Champion Hickory Smoked Bacon, Award-winning Smoked Pork Sausage, Scrambled eggs, Biscuits and Gravy, Hash Browns and a Muffin – $9.99 
    • Steak, Egg & Fries – $8.99
    • Two Eggs, Grand Champion Bacon and Hash Browns – $6.99
    • Biscuits, Gravy & Sausage – $3.99
    • Order of Grand Champion Bacon or Award Winning Sausage – $3.99
    • Cinnamon Roll – $3.99

  • Wurst sample bar will be open and hosted by Wurstmeister Mike and serving Wurst Samples of four bratwurst flavors.
  • Wurst beers will be available for sale from the Brewmeister and Wurst beer girls.
  • Whole Hog Roast, Sunday 11 am-4 pm – Wurstmeister Mike will be cooking, carving and serving a Whole Pig Roast in-store! Our Whole Pig Roast Special will also include German Potato Salad, Red Cabbage and Baked Beans for $13.99, served 11 am-4 pm.
  • Hermann the Bratwurst will be greeting Amtrak and Maifest visitors! Get your photo taken with Hermann the Bratwurst!
